The Hebrew Scriptures are the foundation of the New Testament.  Torah Class is an independent, non-denominational organization of gentile Christians and Messianic Jews who meet to learn Torah and Old Testament (Tanakh) from a Hebrew Roots perspec-tive, and then apply our understanding to the works of Messiah in the New Testament and ultimately to our lives and personal relationship with the Lord.

God in the Pentateuch: Reading against the Grain   David JA Clines  explores what sort of data we should use in our understanding of God. The God of the Pentateuch is a complex and mysterious character passionate and dynamic but by no means conformable to human notions of right behaviour. Clines concludes by saying that all of our readings will enshrine our own ideology.
